Most self-adhesive tapes are designed to do one thing well: bond permanently, or bond temporarily.
XF-204A does both, in a single construction.
A Dual-Adhesive Construction
XF-204A is a clear PET double-sided tape built around two different adhesive systems, one on each face.
The open side uses a permanent modified solvent acrylic adhesive. It bonds securely to paper, board and high surface energy plastics.
The closed side uses a removable modified solvent acrylic adhesive. Adhesion here is intentionally low, yet strong enough to hold reliably to glass, ABS and PVC.
Between the two sits a strong, transparent PET carrier.
Why This Matters
Many applications need one surface permanently fixed and another surface that can be changed, repositioned or removed without damage.
A single-adhesion tape cannot meet both requirements at once.
XF-204A solves this by design, not by compromise.
On removal, the tape leaves no residue behind, even after prolonged exposure to direct UV light, making it suitable for outdoor and UV-exposed applications where clean removal matters.
Application Guidance
For best results, apply to a clean surface, free from dust and greasy residue. Clean with 50% or 70% alcohol before application.
Shelf life is 12 months from date of delivery.
